Feb. 17 // Jimmy Carter National Historic Site
On February 17, 2020 the Jimmy Carter National Historic Site is pleased to host Presidential Historian Dr. Laurence L. Cook.
Dr. Cook will do a lecture entitled “All in the Presidential Family”. This lecture will be held at 11:00 am in the auditorium of Plains High School Museum and Visitor Center. After the lecture Dr. Cook will answer questions as well as autograph his book “Presidential Coincidences, Amazing Facts and Collectibles,” which will be available for purchase.
Dr. Laurence Cook is a nationally-recognized presidential historian, specializing in the personal side of the presidency. He is a lifelong collector of presidential memorabilia and has a museum-quality collection which exceeds 8,000 pieces. He is the author of “Presidential Coincidences, Amazing Facts, and Collectibles.”
Feb. 27 // Old Forge Historical Society Presentation
I look forward to presenting at the Old Forge High School on Thursday, Feb. 27 at 7 PM. I’ll be highlighting certain pieces from my collection and sharing about the corresponding presidents. This presentation is open to the public and is sponsored by the Old Forge Historical Society.
Feb. 24 // PA Live Appearance
I look forward to appearing on PA Live to promote my public presentation at the Old Forge High School on Thursday, Feb. 27 at 7 PM.
