Ella Dickey Literacy Award

Dr. Larry Cook, presidential historian, was awarded the Ella Dickey Literacy Award on Thursday, April 22, 2021 at the Missouri Cherry Blossom Festival in Marshfield, MO.

The award is presented to six national authors who have contributed to the preservation of history. Dr. Cook’s was recognized for his recent book, Symbols of Patriotism: First Ladies and Daughters of the American Revolution.
